I can still remember one of my favorite movies when I was a kid: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I loved it because I am a dreamer at heart, and I love the idea of a candy world. I have always been enchanted by the original music in the movie. My favorite song would have to be Pure Imagination. I decided to record it last night with my new MXL 990 microphone. I liked the results! I wanted to make this song with the closest dreamiest chords I could make without over powering the simple melody. Enjoy the sample!

Showers of Blessing

I just had this desire to sing showers of blessing. I think that I found a rhythm to my recording and some songs that I really like. So I will post a few preview songs. This is my fifth song out of a probable 12 for my sacred CD. I hope that it turns out to be a true blessing to those who desire some good music. I decided to stick to some classic hymns. I think that it is important to not just through thousands of years of hymn writing down the drain, and I believe that i have kept it somewhat fresh. Anyway, hope you enjoy it. Thanks for listening

The Bird the Worm

Today, I finished another song. I decided to include the voice of my wife on this one. Bethany has a very sweet fun voice and it just worked perfectly. I recorded this song in the dinning room/Kitchen. I decided to use some fun techniques to enhance and play with the colors of the voices in this song particularly. I borrowed the song from OWL CITY. I wrote an arrangement of it for fun. So, I hope that you enjoy the Tune. =)

Mocha

I decided to add a Spanish flare to one of the songs. I wrote this song called “Mocha” I have had a melody in my head for a while and I thought that it might sound good with a Latin timing. It is just meant to be a fun easy song. The most difficult part in recording this song were the chords. there are some Dim 9 and similar chords. I hope that you enjoy listening. I have really been desiring to do another CD and sell it full out. I noticed that there are not many Children’s songs/ lullaby CD’s out there in the A cappella style.
